A Message From Barbara

Thank you for visiting the Divine Order website. Now that you’ve learned more about how Divine Order can help bring peace and calm back to your life, I’d like to tell you a little about me…because when you work with Divine Order, well, you’re working with me.

I have been fortunate to do this work since 2009. But the desire for it began many years earlier.

I left corporate life in 2000 and a career that prepared me well for Divine Order as I became skilled in developing processes, managing projects, training, mentoring and coaching, and employing effective time management techniques. Subsequently, I researched the professional organizing industry, chose a name for my company, and outlined what my business would look like, but life took a different turn.

My husband and I decided to move to Florida in 2001 where we enjoyed semi-retirement and I continued corporate work part-time. Shortly after my husband’s unexpected death in 2008, I was laid off from my job as a result of the economic downturn. And my son in Indianapolis told me he was going to propose to his girlfriend. Those events made the decision to move back home to be near family and lifelong friendships relatively easy. And that’s when I decided that Divine Order would become a reality.

What I didn’t realize was what an expansive journey it would be. I soon recognized that simply helping people get organized was only half the equation. I discovered coaching as a way to support clients to achieve sustainable change in the way they live. After much study and training, I achieved certifications and specialist qualifications, and have collaborated with area therapists to assist clients with disorganization, chronic disorganization and ADHD challenges. I have gained tremendous gratification coaching individuals to live more peaceful, productive, and satisfying lives.

My journey continues with the publication of a book that I co-wrote, Embracing Conscious Simplicity through Awareness, Intention, and Understanding (available at Amazon.com) that speaks to anyone seeking freedom from the physical, mental, or emotional clutter that gets in the way of the life they want to live. If it keeps us stuck, it’s clutter!

We all have the power and potential to create the life we want. We get to choose if we approach that life from love or fear. I’ve had opportunity to try it both ways throughout my life and without question, love wins! It has allowed me to be open, stay open, and trust. When you partner with me, you can trust that I will demonstrate an enthusiastic passion about our work together, and a commitment to help you regain your power to make a difference in your life. I am a perceptive listener and approach all my clients with professionalism, compassion, and confidentiality along with a healthy dose of fun and sense of humor! I look forward to talking with you.
